Based on my current income and utter lack of interest in the cult of hetero marriage, is it so bad that I would offer an exceptionally attractive woman a retainer salary and 401k for providing me with my nerdy and co-beneficial physical needs? I mean seriously, cant we just be best friends with benefits and make those benefits realistic, given our current economy?

You can buy and steal a lot of things, but not the most fun bit of sex.. and you don't need to either, women are just as horny as men. It's just that you can't buy genuine sex outside of your actual league :P It's not about morality, it's just not possible.

Awww, sorry to hear that. It's hard to love someone who doesn't believe they are worthy to be loved by you. So don't do that next time, it's not your call who loves you and why :)
I'd say whenever a person digs you, you're "in their league", at least the way I meant it. It was a shitty phrase to use, I didn't mean to imply a linear ranking of better or worse. At least for me, how attractive I consider a person is not *purely* a function of their health, youth, symmetry of features or whatever.

but she needs to be the right woman and you the right man (chemistry). When it works, it works well, The hard part is splitting. you will both grow an attachment, as in my case her being valedictorian offered her jobs elsewhere and I was happy to stay where I was. I never payed her, but I do owe her $300, we cohabited for one reason, to see if it would work out while going to college, and it worked well.
Now the outside influences: she was very small (not Asian) with a son that was 18 and huge (daddy's boy).
