One of the refutations of Richard Clarke's accusations put forth by the Bush Administration (press secretary McClellan, in this case) is that the White House has no record of Bush being in the Situation Room on the date Clarke says he was told to look at an Iraq connection.

So. On 9/12/2001, Bush didn't use the Situation Room at all? As Jon Stewart says... what on earth are they saving it for?

on the day that he did his "Quick Recap of the Middle East Conflict," (the one that goes, "which was in retaliation for... which was in retaliation for... which was in retaliation for... for several minutes) my former roomie and i picked ourselves up off the floor where we'd fallen down in laughter and swore that were we ever famous, we would appear on whatever show Jon Stewart was doing before we'd appear on any other tv show.

So there ya go: if i'm ever on tv, it will be fake news first. Go, Gen X!!
