Journal Chacham's Journal: Diaretical: Five more comments modded down. Karma "good". 8
Well, it happened again. Someone set out to "get" me. My karma is "good". IIRC, it was "excellent" earlier today. Considering the order, he probably just went to my comment page and clicked the first five.
It doesn't even bother me that much. I mean, if it's that easy to give some kiddie his thrills, then sure, why not? The issue, however, is that ultimately this can affect my posting abilities, whether in the amount allowed to post, or if people will see my posts in the case where i post to a story, as the extra karma point is nice.
On another note, the friend/foe issue is temporarily pushed off until i set up my email server. That got moved up in line, plus, i plan to use that host to run the script that'll to the changeover. Unfortunately, i'm lazy, and am hitting it slowly.

That's quite distasteful. There should be some limit on how people find the comments that they moderate. There should be some way to detect mod-bombing. I can't think of any methods that wouldn't get in the way of normal moderation, though, and/or be incredibly complex.
Overrated/underrated don't even get meta-modded, at least not directly.
It always bugs me when people get mod-bombed like that. You, Montag, a few others... grr.

There is, it seems. If I got mod-points and decided to blow them all on mod-bombing you, for example, Slashcode automatically alerts an editor to "possible abuse". Not perfect - a subtle mod-bomber can still get away with it by moderating f
