Stuff Bush didn't do

  • I keep hearing that there was no president between Clinton and Obama. Or are you talking about the guy that came after Reagan?
  • Actually, looking at that comic, it would be really, really, awful if someone did do all of those things. It's a good thing that many of the statements in that comic are gravely distorted for a political agenda rather than reflections of reality. I like their closing bit about "Marxism" as well; one would think that "real journalists" would know what that word means...
    • And you're dead set against there being any actual investigation of any of the points in the cartoon.

      • And you're dead set against there being any actual investigation of any of the points in the cartoon.

What "points" do you see the cartoon making that have not already been investigated? Benghazi has already had an independent investigation - just because its findings only supported 90% of the conservative narrative means you should demand the consumption of taxpayer dollars to conduct additional investigations until you get the answer you want? I'm not anti-justice, in spite of your repeated claims to the contrary. I'm just opposed to conspiracy theories magically transforming into justifications for w

Is that the part you have a problem with? Was the press too lacking of a political agenda with their investigation? Please, then, tell me how congress is authorized to spend federal money on a redundant investigation when it is blatantly fueled by a political agenda.

            • Justice is not a political agenda.
              • Justice does not exist in the political arena. There is only victory and defeat.

              • Justice is not a political agenda.

How does removing the president produce justice for the four people who died in Benghazi, particularly when the president had no reasonable options to prevent their deaths?

In other words, justice is not a political agenda, but you are not out for justice (and you have an obvious political agenda).

                • particularly when the president had no reasonable options to prevent their deaths?

You assert this without proof, and I don't think you correct. But a proper investigation would reveal such, and could help deliver justice.

The timeline - and the inherent impracticality of action that comes with it - is proof. The first attack was over in less time than it would have taken to fly troops in from the closest major US airbase. There was no way to know if the attack was going to lead to another attack elsewhere or if it was just going to disperse and go away afterwards. You can armchair quarterback it as much as you want but the timeline itself shows that there was nothing else he could do. Nobody criticized Bush Jr. for not

                    • Look: I think you're full of crap. I don't believe you, I don't believe your appeals to corrupted authority, and I don't believe the huckster cluttering the Resolute Desk, God have mercy on his soul.

You are entitled to your own opinion. However you are not entitled to your own facts. The facts on Benghazi are out there for all to see. It has been investigated more than once. You want it to turn into a scandal many orders of magnitude of orders of magnitude greater than Watergate, to shake the entire democratic party down to nothing.

You can want that all you want. It simply won't happen. There are not enough facts to support it. Nobody anywhere contests that there were things that could have

And Lord have mercy on you in your delusion.

                    • I love watching people argue over points of speculation... It's like watching a christian and a muslim fight over whose god is tougher...

                    • It's more fun when you remember that my dear friend the fake liberal damn_registrars is merely parodying the likes of Rachel Maddow.
