So, today I go into a book store and there it was, book three of the Harry Potter series in paperback (for some reason, it took a while to come to my hometown).
I remember when I picked up the first one thinking it would be pretty much predictable and dull. And it kind of was. Then I surprised myself and bought the second one with the same expectatives, and once again, proved myself right.
Now I have #3 in my hand and I wonder, why the hell did I buy this? Then it dawned on me: easy reading. It requires nearly no brain power to follow and since I couldn't care less about the chars, there's no dramatic tension. Help me relax... unwind and fall asleep at difficult nights.
