hey!'s Journal: Two questions

Just an experiment. I'd like to know two things.

(1) Does anyone read journal entries?

(2) How do people find journal entries they might want to read?

If you set your Slashdot preferences to have /. e-mail you when your "friends" post a journal entry, then you tend to go and read those journals...

As far as I know, there's no Journal Search System, although there should be.

Shit yes, their's a journal search system! It's integrated with the site search system!

Go here [slashdot.org]. Now, do you see the radio button marked JOURNALS, to the right of POLLS, to the right of USERS, to the right of COMMENTS, to the right of STORIES?
