EvilLiberalGuy's Journal: Is our children learning? Probably not.

I was quite bored tonight, and decided I would search Kazaa and Google for research papers. I found the following site to be of particular interest:

Why? Just browse the high-quality papers there to see how well children are writing. I had never tried to detect plagarism in papers before, but it was quite easy to detect in on many of the papers I read there tonight. Grammar and spelling are also quite atrocious. Finally, there is the issue of injecting personal beliefs into a paper. Read the abortion paper under the history section for the one I'm talking about. Should a research paper be written on the basis of personal convictions, or should it be factual in nature? The bad thing about all this is that people (presumably American kids) are producing this garbage and calling it research.
