Review: Beyond Good and Evil

  • For some strange reason I thought you were going to talk about Nietzsche. I still haven't read any of him. I had a friend that really liked him.

    So, If I were to get a game consoul, what would you recommend? (I just glanced at your PS2 review.)

    I was putting a lot of consideration into getting an Atari 7800. I have an Intelevision.

      A fair point, Beyond Good and Evil was a profoundly stupid name for an otherwise excellent game. It had nothing to do with the game. It just sounds pretentious. Ah well.

      While I loathe Sony's many, many bad decisions with the PS2, I respect the many, many excellent games for the console. However...

      • I don't think the 7800 has backword compatibility with the 2600

        No, it does which is one of the reasons I want to get one. But there just aren't that many 7800 games out there so I wonder if it is really worth it. I'm thinkiing I'll at least wait until I get a job. (I can get one used for $100 at a local place that specializes in old video games, including an entire arcade of 80s games.)
