I've been trying to tell you what's going on, but my karma's so low nobody reads this. THANKS, Slashdot editors!

You'll have to be a subscriber to read all my old posts, but I basically created this pathetic nym to warn the Free Software community of what's going to happen to them. Heh. Hacked Slashcode bad to show I'm almighty and am serious, the eds pulled my journal entry. Nice "transparency", guys. These Slashbot editors are worse than the Gestapo.

I'm currently running this through my "home away from home", a rooted Win98 box in a bank of some kind. No matter. I can't give more details because I'm basically a coward and if I say too much, I'm either dead or about to be dead.

You MORONS think you can go about your life like Linus, carefree and ignorant, but the POWERS that be have issued a death warrant for you by any means necessary -- the powers in this case being my twin former employers, with whom I developed organizational P2P astroturfing software and Unix rootkits.

The GPL will die, and with it, your only chance at freedom. You idiots have NO IDEA of how close you are to the edge. And that's a big part of the plan. The element of surprise, and the impression that proprietary software accepts you as a competitor. FOOLS. How could anyone who depends on proprietary software to stay alive accept the snake that will sooner or later devour them? They're a lot smarter, a lot more cautious, a lot less trusting, and a lot more dangerous than you trusting little newbs imagine. You are soon going to be attacked on every front imaginable by some VERY nasty dudes. Dudes who have judges and politicians on their payroll. Dudes who have billions to lose and trillions of future profits to lose unless GNU/Linux is WIPED. OUT. COMPLETELY. FOREVER.

Think Big. Think Big Brother.

That's what you're fighting. The plans are all laid out at the highest levels. You're all that stands in the way of total control being concentrated in the hands of about a dozen men who have no morals whatsoever.

This all sounds like a bad novel, but it's not. It's happening -- in secrecy. You think I'm kidding? Follow the money, and put 2+2 together. Or are you too sedated already? How many coincidences must there be before you realize that it's not coincidence, but enemy action?

"Ethics don't matter, use what works. Use what's cool. Become a consumer rather than a producer. Take time to enjoy yourselves instead of slaving away over that buggy Linux box.
