Why doesn't illegal mean illegal? I can't understand the mentality of the people who aren't for just kicking these people out. They are illegal immigrants, and they should be deported. Come to this country legally, and I will welcome them with open-arms. Just rediculous.

Fixing this with a new amendment is more important than the No Gay Marriage ammendment to me at least. I guess the question is, can we convince the current republican majority to start work on this or will they lose more seats as a result and therefore be a no-no. For every california illegal, there is probably one in the Southeast/Texas. I hate to say it but a national ID card is sounding better and better every day, your card checks out as a citizen+no felonies, you get to vote, screw you if you don't
