Journal Chacham's Journal: Rhymsical: The life that is ours

The life that is ours, and all it empowers, comes along from one theme,
From the moment we rise, when we open our eyes, we're pushing towards our dream.
But if our dreams all came true, there'd be nothing to do, as strange as it may sound,
With a newer dawn, and aspirations gone, we'd all be back on the ground.
What made life so dear, is no longer here, because you've reached your goal,
The end you've addressed, now you're depressed, life has taken its tole.

Changed "weird" in the original, to "strange" here. I think it sounds better.
