Slashdot journal traffic is low. Most entries get few comments for replies. (Its frustrating when someone has disabled comments.) I don't think anyone spends their mod points on journal reply comments yet.

I have swiched over to mainly reading JE, I use the search and journals button and go down the list until I see something interesting. Most of the time I lurk or the JE is just informational. Some entries like Em Emalb [slashdot.org] posts polls and whatnot so interaction is wanted and asked for. Start cruising users, friends/fans and JE's. Friend some people and it makes it eaisier to keep track of them and you can get messages when they post a JE [slashdot.org] Note that very many of these people are habitual users [ myself included :
