Did anyone really not know that Rand Paul is the slimiest of the slimy? The kind of politician who cloaks himself in purity, but is the first in line to pick up his bribe bag. If he stays in the Senate long enough, I guarantee he will get caught up in a Rostenkowski-style corruption scandal (or worse).
I can't believe anyone with half a brain, even the libertarian half-brains, were ever fooled by that guy.
But I think he's showing he has the qualities to be a Republican leader for the next several decades.
Paul pointed out that he'd made this very same argument several times during his 13 hour filibuster.
He then tried to walk it back into a general technology abstraction.
Somebody needs to overdub his dialog onto Judas Priest "Metal Gods".
That would be teh kewl.
(JP does put on a real rockin' show. I'll bet Rob has ridden that bike in just about every major city on the planet. On their stages, if not their streets.)
