  • Welcome to the bandwagon! You're in very good company, even if you are a little late to the party. Moving on...

    First of all, a Google search for 'gosnell' reveals an absolute wealth of links from many a MSM outlet covering this story.

    Better yet, many of those links are similar in tone to your post, either asking or conversely, explaining why this story does or doesn't deserve its 'uncovered' status.

    Perhaps you'd like to refine your JE?
  • It gets worse: Do the search, except this time, do it with a wider date range. I can find articles on this dating back to at least january of this year, as well references from the initial allegations (2010) and his arrest (2011). I'd go further, but I have actual important shit to do.

        • I will correct. CNN in the last few hours has now started interviewing OTHER JOURNALISTS on why the media blackout occurred.

          Nobody is still covering the trial yet, other than the Associated Press feed.

        2. This tells me you STILL haven't bothered with a rudimentary google search. Don't be lazy.

        • My rudimentary google search for "Gosnell Trial" yielded only stories from heavily right wing pro-life websites for articles dated after January 2013. ALL previous coverage in the mainline news media dealt with the arrest in 2011, not the current testimony.

          • Which is a distinction without a difference.

            • It does point, however, to a certain blind spot of bias in our collective culture.

              • Not really. You know how much shit doesn't get covered? This is not some node, just another tiny point in a big noisy field.

                Honestly, we could play this game all day if we want to talk about pet grievances the MSM fails to adequately portray, if at all. What's so special about this? You never seen a doctor go to jail before?

                • I've seen tons of local murder cases covered- heck, we even recently had the coverage of what was in Adam Lanza's bedroom.

                  How many more children did Kermit Gosnell kill than Adam Lanza? Or is it because his favorite weapon was scissors instead of a gun?

      • . . .is that, on Twitter, there is such a #Gosnell blow-up that some are wondering aloud if this isn't a convenient distraction from the Senate's lousy Second Amendment work this week.
