I am Emmitt Smith's Journal: I am going to be a father

I am going to be a father by September. I still can't wrap my head all the was around that one. It's more than a little scary. Just thinking about being responsible for a whole other person sounds insane. I hardly feel responsible enough for one sometimes, much less two. But at the same time I am unbelievably excited. It's been amazing watching from the outside as my wife grows larger and larger with my daughter inside her. She feels fat, but I've never seen anything more beautiful. I know it sounds corny but it's true. If you've never experienced it, it's hard to explain. Actually being able to see the miracle of life working is a blessing beyond description.
