I'm adding this entry just to allow anyone to add comments if they wish.

I did install a copy of OTRS on Debian yesterday. I installed Debian on the box by using Konoppix (/usr/local/bin/knx-hdinstall).

That went smoothly and the new KDE is very nice. If I didn't do so much windows work I might be tempted to switch my primary desktop over.

It was my first time for doing much with Debian. Apt-get was a pleasure, even if I had to use unstable for everything I wanted to do. I think that's more Konoppix's fault than anything else.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how my client likes OTRS.
