Kim Jong Un is conning Trump -- and he's falling for it

        It does matter to the assessment on whether today's reaction by the paper is genuine, and the language they use — justified.

        If they weren't saying the same things about Clinton — and I was referring to Bill Clinton — then one may be excused for suspecting, their (and your own) harsh words and mockery today are largely partisan point-scoring, rather than actual worry about the US falling for North Korea's lies.

        If you are really worried about the latter, then hopefully Trump's recent appoint [nytimes.com]

        • Okay.. but Clinton isn't relevant anymore, and even this newspaper isn't relevant, what's relevant is Trump is, apparently, by his own words, taking Kim Jong Un at his word. Even if he doesn't act on it, it makes him look like even more of a fool than he already does. How is that good for the country?
