Morrig's Journal: why

Why would we want to keep a journal on Slashdot? I mean, everybody's great and all, but doesn't this seem like just a tad bit egotistical? Your own homepage is one thing, but a public website seems to be entirely another. *shrug* Or maybe i'm just too darn humble.
