Journal damn_registrars's Journal: Yet more evidence that Trump is NOT 6 foot 3 24
Trump's recent clashes with the GOP have produced more pictures of him with house and senate republicans. While I can't immediately think of anything I agree with Paul Ryan on (any more so than anything that I agree with Trump on) I am willing to consider that his official height of 6'1" is likely accurate (after all, who would intentionally undersell their height?).
A quick google image search for Trump and Ryan shows a number of times they have been photographed together. Not one of them suggests that Trump is taller.
This is important because it shows that Trump knew he lied on his health form as a candidate. He swore on that form that the information - including his bogus height of 6'3" - were accurate. While it seems like a rather benign offense this could be an impeachable one - easily at least as impeachable as "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinski".

And until it costs him some support, he'll keep right on lying. Obviously it doesn't matter to them. Still, he is only doing in broad daylight what others try to hide behind the curtain. Besides, instead of focusing attention on him, it would be better to seek out a replacement. Throw some names on the forum, and see what sticks. And until reelection rates are reduced, nothing is going to improve anyway.

The form was not to the RNC, it was to the federal election commission. He was not lying to his party, he was lying to the federal government and to the American people.
Was it his most egregious lie? Certainly not. It is, however, a lie that is 100% one that can be demonstrated to be one he knew to be an outright lie. Even though he is a career liar and cheat, this was the first time he was lying to the American people when he was sworn to be giving truthful statements.

People lie about their height (making themselves taller), their weight (making themselves weigh less) and their age (making themselves younger) all the time. It would be argued that this is "de minimus", and rightfully so, because it's not materially relevant. Same as if they marked down that their religion was Pastafarian even if it wasn't.
As long as the candidate is unambiguously identified ( 100.17 Clearly identified (52 U.S.C. 30101(18)) the commission doesn't give a shit if the height or weight match
