While perusing a useful news aggregation service, I came upon a Washington Post article mentioning that Steve Bannon served 7 years in the Navy. Being as the official narrative from the administration is that we should not trust anything from the Washington Post, does that mean that Bannon did not serve in the Navy?

I'm hoping first will be Trump's resignation [whitehouse.gov].

Though I certainly can't say anything he has done has caused my head to explode. I was expecting corruption, corporate cronyism, and vast acts of shitting on the 99%. So far, he ha followed schedule exactly.

Well, to give credit where it's due, he did surprise me somewhat with his turnaround regarding the One China Policy.

The turnaround should not surprise you. As Seth Meyers pointed out shortly after election day, Trump has had pretty much every position on every issue at one time or another. Most of the time his position just switches from the one that makes him less money to the one that makes him more money (or which one gets him more press coverage of any sort). Occasionally it switches in response to what he thinks his followers are more inclined to support.
