Not much of one too be sure, but at 45, I'm too young to be the crotchety old guy I feel like.

You're still young, young man; I just turned 50. That has given me the impetus and unemployment has given me the time to do a lot of thinking lately, about my life. But even before this I've seen my dad turn rather crotchety, so among things I'm trying to change in myself, there's also things I'm trying to avoid turning into.
