I got bored of that game, so indulged in the truce. When my kid goes back to his mom's, maybe I'll play again. For now, I've got better things to do.

I'll be getting bored myself with this pretty soon, I suppose.. probably when the sun comes back out.. been sitting under a lot of rain for the last few days, so I thought, what the hell, just point and laugh (don't even know or care what they're talking about), It doesn't leave them much choice other than the carpet bombing.. I've taken three full loads now, and counting.. Maybe I should be happy that Slashdot's not handing out 15 points at a time anymore... don't know how well the shields would hold again

They are still handing out 15 mod points at a time. I got either two or three sets in the past week. One in each of the two weeks prior.

Er, I had fifteen points Monday, and another fifteen yesterday. So maybe you just ought to be glad that nobody with their karma topped out has been modbombing (I use most of mine to mod people up, especially the ACs starting at -1 who actually have something interesting or insightful to say).

Woops, I just got fifteen more, saw it when I went to the front page. Not complaining, understand...
Also saw that they did another redesign of the CSS. Odd, it looked exactly the same as yesterday when I logged in at home this morning (FireFox on kubuntu), but all the titles are missing at work (IE6 on XP).
I'll have to pull it up on my phone to see what it looks like there.

What the skiddies here don't understand is that I don't give a shit about dumbass 'karma' on the internet.. I'm here for the jollies with nothing to lose or fight for.. watching them destroy their world.. They can go absolutely nuts as far as I'm concerned.. It's nothing but pure entertainment (and data points) for me and mine... Tragicomedy is probably the best word I can think of to describe it

I never gave two shits about karma, probably why it's always been so good. Hell, I'll often post "mod parent up, mod me offtopic". Maybe that's why my karma's always been excellent. Or maybe it's because I don't troll (well, intentionally, anyway).
I use slashdot to blow off steam, and sometimes as a catharsis. Odddly, the more pissed I am about something the more I'm modded up. This place is weird.
