Journal fustakrakich's Journal: Will she do it? 18

Make Bernie VP? I kinda prefer Warren. This is entirely within the context of something like, which is Freddy Krueger's good side? But since "the devil we know" is the game here, let's pick the best devil, right? Call it a fashion statement.

Like Linux on the desktop, will this be the year the democrats honor the platform? I mean, to save a lot of time, they only need to say one magic word to win, Beetlejuice!

Will she do it?

Now let's watch quid pro quo in action. Sanders and Warren will get pretty cushy posts. Hillary even owes Trump big time (ambassador to Liechtenstein?), without whom our devious democrats would never have a chance of regaining lost seats. Tag team, works like a charm. In the audience we have "Stop Trump" on one side and "Anything but Hillary" on the other in the Battle for D.C.. I am kind of interested to see how the future Bernie money will be divvied up. I don't really exp

      • The government exists to serve...

To serve man, like a cookbook, eh. That's not what the U.S. Government exists for. It exists to protect our rights to pursue the life of each of our's choosing, our individual liberties, and whatever each of us chase that we consider happiness. It doesn't exist to get involved in how we do that. Or how successful we are at that. You're not free if I meddle in your affairs. Freedom means free to succeed and fail, and the freedom to have more than others and less than others. Fuck. You. Lefties.

        • You may think Sanders ran against Hillary.

No, I never thought that... You have only confirmed that you really never paid attention to what I have been posting. Look back a few JE's and other posts and you will see the explanation of his purpose. He was, and still is a sheepdog for the party, and he gets along with Hillary just fine. He and Trump are what you call, strange bedfellows.

As for the rest of your post, it's mildly amusing, but you're no Monty Python. I mean, please, you really think that Fuck. You

          • I respect your right to not talk about what you don't want to talk about.

            • You are high, man! Must be nice... Wish I was....

              • I would have to be high to not notice that you dodge certain things. Instead of being a coward, maybe you should take that as your first clue that maybe you don't have your intellectual house in order. Just sayin'...

                • Yeah, you're just sayin' nonsense... Following the bread crumbs mass media leaves for you. As far as intellectual houses go, you are homeless... indestreet That's what happens when you build a house of cards.

And taking a break from feeding trolls is not dodging. There's nothing to dodge, except the smell.

    • More government involvement in the lives of the people is teh freedom!

Like that hasn't increased under republicans? Don't worry, though. It's going to come to an end sometime past mid-century.

      • Someone doing a little makes someone else doing a lot less bad to you? And thanks for the vague statement with no means of understanding it; fusta must be rubbing off on you.

        • Someone doing a little makes someone else doing a lot less bad to you?

This has to be one of your finest feats of butchery ever! A real masterpiece. Even I have to say, Bravo! I mean, like, who's doing the rubbing here? I think you just invented truly effective cryptography. That was totally awesome! Can you do it again?

        • Freedom is something that, towards the end, governments restrict. Doesn't matter whether it's dems or repubs, the same thing will happen as has happened throughout history. Looking back, they'll all seem to be the same.

  • If Hillary were smart, she'd pick Donald for VP. After all, that's the job description he really wants: Zero responsibility and lots of perks.
    • Yeah, I was kind of speculating the same crazy possibility. I should have put it down in writing when it came to me. I wouldn't exactly call it "zero responsibility" though as much as it is just one of the guys "behind the camera", or "best boy"...

      • That jagoff hasn't worked a day in his life. He ain't about to start now.
        • True, he's another Dan Quail, or what Palin would have been. Not at all like LBJ, old man Bush, or Cheney. Oh, but to think that win or lose, the man is going to get security clearance. I hope it comes with one of those brain implants that will blow up if he even breathes through his mouth. It's like putting another child in the cockpit [wikipedia.org]

    • Sorry, I didn't notice the subject up there. Perez does seem to be the most logical choice. Within the context of the business, he appears to be pretty clean and he "got things done", and as far as I know, he stayed out of the news for the most part. Activists, noisy VPs are not advantageous to the campaign. It steals focus.
