If the choices for president were Democrat Hillary Clinton, Republican Donald Trump, and a Giant Meteor hitting the earth, which would you choose?

Hillary Clinton ----------------- 43%

Donald Trump ----------------- 38%

Giant Meteor hitting earth -- 13%

Not sure ----------------------- 7%

Other polls show Johnson and Stein getting 5% and 2% respectively

Amongst independents the Giant Meteor gets 27%, fairly close to a three way tie.

What advantage does the Giant Meteor offer over the others? I believe the answer is obvious.

People are questioning why Sanders won't just endorse Clinton. It should be obvious, but apparently not. It's still the regular culprit, money. When he endorses Clinton, the money and attention from the part of his sect which will never vote for her anyway that he brings into the party will dry up and go to Stein. The game has to run for as long as possible. Can't let third party distractions get in the way. It's that simple*.

    • All the numbers are from a real (well, media) poll. Public Policy Polling is what they call themselves. They have quite the reputation for being more accurate than most.

      I think it will be a while before we can elect a meteor that will be able to keep its promise.
