Ben Carson Is Going to Go Back to His Nap

  • Who the fuck let this autistic kid anywhere near a political campaign? People say Trump is embarrassing, but when you decide to take a break from running for the most powerful office on earth so you can sell some more books, fuck you and the Jesus raptor you rode in on.

"Gee, I dunno how I get to the White House from here. Imma take a break and see if we cant figure it out." JUST DROP OUT ALREADY YA JACKASS.

Isn't that the very reason why Trump and Carson are in the race to begin with? Frankly the kindest thing I can say about Drumpf is that he likely doesn't actually want to be president, he more likely is in this just because he gets even more exposure for his brand by doing so. Carson does well selling his tome of lies as well...

This is a mistake. Pretty much any American with a healthy ego would like to be POTUS. To assume Trump doesn't want it simply because the likelihood of it happening is so tiny, is silly. Not to mention that that path is looking pretty good right now.

That's not my rationale at all; although the national polls continue to indicate that the democrats could pick a random person off the sidewalk and still beat Drumpf by a landslide. His only chance at winning is if Hillary wins the democratic nomination (which sadly she has a pretty high chance of), at which point the GOP electorate will have to decide what they hate more (between Drumpf and Clinton) and what that motivates them to do.

That said my rationale for Drumpf not wanting to win is because it's

Sanders, yes. Hillary '08, yes. Hillary 2016, no.

Some polls have Drumpf and Hillary within the margin of error. The big wild card in the situation is that there is almost nothing the GOP hates more than anything ending in Clinton, so they could potentially get a lot of voters out of the woodwork to vote for whomever is on the GOP side of the ballot purely to prevent another Clinton from rising to POTUS. What we don't know is whether they will be willing to stomach Drumpf just to spite Clinton, there is a real chance some may find that a bridge too far.

          • His brand doesn't get more prestigious when he takes that job - or that pay cut.

You have a bizarre notion of the worth of the office of POTUS.

He already gets huge paychecks for giving speeches. He already has tons of security following him everywhere. He already gets shuttled around in private vehicles of every imaginable type. What is there for him to gain by being president? Right now he arguably has more power to do whatever he wants; if he suddenly finds himself tethered to congress what is the benefit to him?

I don't disagree with the notion that people who run for POTUS are often some of the biggest egos around. But what does he re

You're telling me with a straight face that the guy who elevated 'sore loser' to an art form is going to have any problem putting on the performance of a lifetime if that happens?

I probably could have phrased that better, as that is pretty much my point. I don't believe he is running for POTUS because he wants to be POTUS, I believe he is running for POTUS because he wants the additional attention that goes with running for POTUS. He's kinda like a grade school kid who starts eating worms because someone dared him to do it; the action makes no sense but now he's stuffing as many in as he can just because it gets a reaction.

I just figure he'll implode his campaign on his own b

It's the REPUBLICAN party, and as such must run a token negro so the racist party doesn't look racist. Carson surely knew he was the party's token negro.

If you don't think Republicans are racist, look at Trump's supporters. Trump is courting bigots.
