Journal Nyder's Journal: Will the real Slashdot please stand up? 2
I've been on slashdot for some years now. While I don't have a really low number, it's still okay. But I'm not a number, i'm a Free? Man.
Anyways, I'd like to discuss the new Slashdot look.
It sucks.
For example, look at this post:

You see my reply? I quoted dudes above me, yet you can't tell that on mine, it looks like they are just indented.
Also, I typed up a reply to someone, only to have the whole thing disappear on me. Not disappear when I hit preview, while I was typing, it just up and left. No, i didn't accidently hit select all and delete. I'm not that stoned yet. (working on it though).
Sure, I'm old, in my 40's. But i'm not afraid of new stuff. yet, sometimes change isn't needed. Slashdot isn't perfect, but it was better then it is now. Seriously, this new theme sucks dog shit.
I don't care about Web 2.0, or whatever. I just want quick loading pages, that make sense in it's display, and doesn't do weird ass shit on me.
Am I asking too much?

Maybe it's a browser quirk? I looked at the post you listed, and I see the same vertical grey bar to the left of the quoted part that I'm used to seeing.

guess it could be. latest stable version of firefox, no script only has doubleclick turned off.
