  • The real awesome is that Cruz had a porno actress in one of his commercials [nytimes.com] and now had to pull said commercial because of that actress.

      How is this awesome? Nobody is that stupid to to think a candidate has anything to do with the vetting or hiring of these actors.
      • It is funny on a variety of levels. If you take it as seriously as your post suggests you likely won't get any of the jokes.
        • The funny part is how much more earned media/bandwidth consumption the Cruz campaign got out of casting a "woman of ill repute" for the video than if the advertisement had simply run.
          Where the Cruz campaign failed to go with it is casting a transgender immigrant minority Muslim recovering addict; all of your bunched panties on the Left would have been even more preposterous than usual. Which is saying a lot indeed.

            I haven't heard anyone from the "left" describe the actress with porn experience in such a disparaging light. I for one question rather she really qualifies as "porn star" - as some have described her - but the notion that she is of "ill repute" (as you said) is not supported at this point.

            Regardless, the Cruz campaign - by way of their superPAC and the various other superPACs that are moving towards them - would have bought that much media attention some other way. Your friends from the establishmen

          • Maybe the funny part is that the same girl might be in this video, which by the way, was many things but 'awesome', and also reflects a general decline in expectations.
