I was listening to some interview of Ron Paul the other day and the interviewer, before the latest week or two of down trends, made a comment about how the market has been going up and isn't he sorry he invested in gold?
RP said "I bought the bulk of my gold as coins back in 1970, when it was $35 an ounce. Gold is now over $1,200 an ounce. I'm doing just fine, thank you."
Gold is, unfortunately, mostly out of my price league except for maybe getting a few grams here or there. Certainly not enough to invest
