I recently turned 38 years old. I've lived more than half my life (if I'm lucky enough to make it to 76). Why does it feel like I'm just going through the motions?

Not so great news (Score:2)
Not so great news: I recently turned 49 and hate it. Turning 40 wasn't so bad. But as I get closer to 50, it is obvious that it is all downhill from here.
