oahazmatt's Journal: Rolls Royce

This is Billy. He needs a new car. He needs one with power windows, automatic transmission, A/C, a CD-player, keyless entry and a solid wheelbase. And he only has $20,000. We told him "you find it, we'll buy it".

*cue Billy browsing a selection of Rolls Royce autos*
"They didn't have one car in there that fit my budget. I guess I'm not cool enough to be a Rolls owner. *sputters*"

*cue Billy browsing at a Toyota dealership*
"Oh, look at this one. It's got four wheels, windshield, door handles, radio, it will get me where I need to go. Yeah."

Congratulations, Billy. It's a Yaris.

"My name is Billy, and I settled for something less than what I wanted but not more extravagent than what I needed. I mean, I probably could've gone over my finances and saved if I really wanted the more expensive item, but I need something now. After all, I'm entitled to something now and cheap. And hey, if it doesn't work the way I want it to, at least I didn't pay for it, right?"
