Ran across this article while poking through Digg. As just about any junkfood junkie in Southern California tell you In-n-Out makes the best burger out there.

Damn, now I want a 4x4 with animal style fries. Dinner is going to be very bad for me.

I used to go to In-n-Out a lot when I was in the Bay Area, but "Animal Style" doesn't ring any bells...

Ya, it's not on the menu directly, but they know it:
For Burgers:
The meat is cooked and fried with mustard and then pickles are added, extra spread and grilled onions are added.

For Fries:
Fries with cheese, spread, grilled onions.

The burgers I like as they normally come (with grilled onions). But the animal style fries are just so good and artery hardening. Actually, while In-n-Out's burgers are very good, their fries are terrible and the animal style makes them good.

Interesting. I wasn't a spread fan, but adding cheese to the fries would certainly ahve made them better. I had a friend how liked to order 10x10 there!
