Journal bbowers's Journal: Why do people insist on low-balling the crap out of items?

I don't get it... Why are technology items low-balled when they are getting sold? A few months ago I tried to sell a 12V power supply... It was brand new, I opened the box to take a picture for someone. They offered me a quarter of the new price because it was opened and therefore used. THAT MAKES NO SENSE. I'm selling my Nintendo Wii now...Asking for $300 with 4 wiimotes, 2 classic controllers, 2 nunchucks, and a BUNCH of downloaded games, close to $100 worth. They retail new for $250 with 1 wiimote. Someone offered me $150 as the best that they could do. What an insult. Ok. /RANT
