As the conservatives here become increasingly noisy, you'll notice that multiple [slashdot.org] hard-core [slashdot.org] conservatives [slashdot.org] here [slashdor.org] have been doing everything they can to smear Obama on slashdot. I'm probably missing some that didn't come out of the woodwork so quickly, but if you just drop a hint of liberal philosophy you'll probably be quickly attacked by one.

• Demonstrate fear of "liberals"
• Show a complete lack of world-view in terms of liberal-conservative politics
• Commit an act of rank hypocrisy in terms of candidate support
• Show astonishing (and astonishingly misplaced) homophobia
• Try for a new record in insults slung in a single post that uses nothing but slurs and stereotypes
