Journal jeff419's Journal: What's wrong with Taxation? 2
From Mises.org comes the question ""What's wrong with taxation?"
To have a free society you need to eliminate to of the things governments currently do, taxing and borrowing.
Right now we work to pay taxes which pay the interest on a debt that is created out of thin air by the federal reserve.
The government will spend what it spends no matter how far in debt it goes until the house of cards collapses, this has been seen many times throughout history.
Instead of this system which benefits the rich while attacking the poor why not just let all govt spending be the source of money. This would lead to an abundance of money floating around tax and interest free. This eliminates the scams of the grand extortionists and returns the benefit of the creation of money to the people.
