Don Reisinger opines on his cnet blog that Google should consider killing youtube.. Why? They overpaid, it costs a lot to run, produces virtually no revenue, attracts lawsuits, and the eyeballs/content can't be converted to cash. Google hasn't put a whole lot of effort to improving youtube, either.
