Journal twitter's Journal: BECTA Expels Vista and Office 2007 from UK Schools.

BECTA, the agency that governs educational technology in the United Kingdom, has again recommended that UK schools stay away from Vista and Office 2007 for both classroom and administrative use. They saw high costs with little benefit for upgrades and new PCs. BECTA also faulted M$ for not using ODF and recommended free software.
