Journal theonlyaether's Journal: Efficient Biofuel Made From Genetically Modified E. Coli

Look like researchers at UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science have developed a genetically modified form of E. Coli to be used to create biofuel using standard fermentation processes. Sounds great to me, as long as they don't need to feed it by using resources otherwise needed for food, causing price hikes. The ability to utilize simple glucose for the process certainly does look promising, though.
