So nother actually is a word.

Gone is the pleasure of laughing at people making the egregious mistake of not realizing that the word "another" is a concatenation of "an" and "other", with the "n" being there because the "o" at the beginning of other, and that when adding a word in between that begins with a consonant the "n" should quietly be dropped like people who have run on sentences, especially when they have the audacity to refer to it in that very sentence and make fun of it, making it hard to read.

I can't remember any examples right now, but there are actually several (much older) words in the English language that have a similar etymology.

Too bad "a" doesn't become "an" before the letter "n". Because that would be fun of an nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnother kind.
