I believe there is an opportunity for some synergy between us, since I have been working on a computational feng-shui advisor. Certainly the position of the computer in a workspace (allopathically rediscovered as "ergonomics") can have an effect on its operation, but how many people consider the layout of data in RAM, or the location of programs physically on the hard drive? To help prevent bad influences from unharmoniously managed memory I've developed patches to the memory management routines of popular open-source operating systems (including Linux, FreeBSD, and OpenBSD) which will lay out data and code according to tested traditional Chinese principles, eliminating negative influences and gently channeling positive energy through a computer's bus. I've also developed a disk fragmenter, which undoes the unnatural and potentially damaging effects of disk "defragmentation" programs and aligns the bits on the hard drive in harmonious patterns guided by the I Ching. In conjunction with other computational feng-shui practices (for instance, choosing the numerologically correct slots for expansion cards, and tuning the placement of drives in drive bays), these programs have reduced inexplicable crashes by 55% (note the double-occurence of the mystical 5) on my home and office computer systems. I think your website could benefit by inclusion of these techniques, which, of course, I would donate free of charge.
