ScottKin's Journal: FP!!....uhhh....wait....this is MY Journal!

Well, I thought it about time to put some entries in my oven-fresh, USDA-approved & FDIC Insured JOURNAL (please hold applause until the end of the show).

So, what's happening with me and my world, you ask?

1) Laid-off from Tier-I Internet Backbone provider due to former employers's financial difficulties exacerbated by 9/11/01 Terrorist Attacks against United States of America. (Stress level = 6/10)

2) Going back to College after 20 years to update skills-set (possibly get BA in CompSci) and prove that I *do* know everything that my resume claims that I do, and getting ready for Finals. (Stress level = 8/10)

3) Knowing that this Holiday Season (name of religious holiday usually celebrated is changed to make sure that this Journal doesn't hack-off some left-wing Liberal whacko) will be the smallest yet, due to personal financial difficulties precipitated by aformentioned events surrounding Item #1. (Stress level = 9/10)

4) Dealing with the day-to-day hassles of being a Root Admin and member of the Executive Committee of a fairly large IRC Network. (Stress level = 11/10).

Needless to say, things are pretty tense around here.

I'm sure that I'll have some interesting, thought-evoking and consciousness-raising thoughts in the near future - but don't count on it.
