Journal Sehanine Moonbow's Journal: Goodbye, Half-Elven Bard. Hello, Elven Moon Goddess 21

Why, yes, it is Koria.

I am different. The past several months have sucked royally, in particular this month.

I've no access to my old account, so I live here now.

I am in Maryland for now.

I am going to Alaska for a much-needed [in]sanity break.

I am moving to West Virginia.

My physical health is much improved. I have paid a high price in getting here, though.

Half of my heart has died. The other half is somewhere outside of Dallas/Fort Worth. If you see it, please return it as I need it - I'll pay the postage.

I'll be intermittent until settled.

I'll add friends as I find them. I have started with those I consider a core.

I'll answer questions, to the best of my ability.

No, I'll not switch to Multiply.

  • It is good to see you here again in public, beloved. That is also something that I greatly missed.
    • That half of your heart? I would not trust it to the postal service. But feel free to come and visit it any time. Please bring mine with you when you come. :-)
  • Good to hear from you!
  • While I don't know exactly what happened, other than physical illness, I am glad you are back and at least feeling better. Good wishes your way :)
  • Welcome back. I'm glad that things are improving for you. An insanity break in Alaska sounds great. I've been pining for the fjords myself.
  • Saw that you returned from Johndii's post. I am glad to hear that you are better (I've been following his emails for a while....they helped/are helping me through a failed long distance relationship).

I was born in Alaska and spent a lot of time hiking and skiing up there as a kid. It is really beautiful up there...great place to vacation, especially this time of year. Watch out for rabid mosquito swarms and drunken rednecks (trust me, there are rednecks in AK).

Again, glad to hear you are better.

  • Don't think you know me, but hey, why not welcome you back? :-D

      Ditto.

And yes, multiply is "just too much ..."

  • Listen to happy songs!

    Read the verses of Rumi!

Imagining is like feeling around in a dark lane,
or washing your eyes with blood.
You are the truth from foot to brow.
Now, what else would you like to know?

  • Glad to meet you at last. That's one devoted fan you've got there. :-)

    • I think that it's more of a matter of great minds following similar paths. :-) Seriously, though, I think that she would have shown up there if it appealed to her. And that's probably the one thing the could induce me to spend time over there. :-)

"Interesting" doesn't begin to capture it, particularly recently. She will share if she feels it is appropriate, but I think that she is doing well just to have her head above water.

      BTW, "AOL."?
  • Glad you're feeling better, although I don't know much about what happened to you.

  • I can honestly say I didn't expect it, but sometimes the world is full of surprises...
  • I don't know if we have ever conversed, but I know johndiii thinks highly of you. This tells me the world will be a little nicer with you in it. :-)

Hm. North Koria and South Koria.
      • Hm. North Koria and South Koria.

All right, that's it... That was ENTIRELY uncalled for. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. Your punishment is banishment to the Friends file. I'll let you out when I feel you have learned from this.

  • Welcome back and enjoy the far north. I love it every time I go there (Only been 3 times in my life, but I hope to make it more).
