Got Points?

Remember back when Taco et al went on a reign of terror and banned hundreds of users in a little Civil War? We all got the $rtbl flag for moderating up a single post... And most of us are aware that Administrator-enforced blacklisting died with the $rtbl (Realtime Black Hole List).

What I'd like is for everyone who was originally banned from moderating (anyone who was $rtbl'd) to talk about whether they've gotten mod points since the $rtbl was repealed. Everyone should be able to MetaMod now, but I'm talking about flat out Mod Points.

People have often pointed out that just because Slashcode is open doesn't mean Slashdot is. I'd like to know how many formerly $rtbl'd users have gotten mod points, how many haven't... post your experiences, post-$rtbl.

I kept on karma whoring it and hit the cap.

Ah, Fuck 'em. Its not like I'm paying for this shit! ;)

(however if I did pay, I'd expect to have my mod ability turned on right quick!)

Same here. I wasn't $rtbl'ed, since I've always been able to M2, but I haven't had M1 points in well over a year. Probably longer.

$rtbl'd due to moderating

I was one of the ones that got bitchslapped. After the $rtbl was lifted, I got back metamoderate, but have never been able to moderate since.

There's some other flag, something like "prevented from moderating; allowed to metamoderate" that must have been added and checked.

Seems that we're allowed to sweep the floors, but we have to be gone when company comes over.

I was the first person to report no longer being able to moderate after the Post of Doom. I have been able to M2 since the zoo stuff got going but I have never moderated again with the exception of on the test system where everybody had 30 points for a day or two.
