Journal entt's Journal: Fuel cells for home use

A Turkish company Vestel (www.vestel.com.tr) announced natural-gas using fuel cells for home-use. It is planned to be commerical Q4 2007. In 2008, Vestel announces, the fuel-cells will be using water as hydrogen source. This is possibly going to be the first water-using fuel-cell for home-use. The main element for producing fuel-cells is boron (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boron) and %63 of natural resources is found in Turkey. Vestel says they developed a new and cheaper way to process boron. The announcements were all around Turkish newspapers but Vestel's internet site does not contain anything.
