Journal o0splitpaw0o's Journal: Can we have some good games now?

So, I saw on the Steam Powered Forums people requesting a ported version of Steam, so they could play their Windows favorites. I myself have been using wine, but you know how wine is. Tweaking, tinkering, tampering, learning to get it working.

For me it's now easy, but weeks I spent trying to make it work smoothly was a challenge. There are several excuses why they haven't made one yet. I think reason being, they don't know how many would make the switch because there is no telling right now even how many Linux users are out there. So., what I did (and hope not to regret this if my hosting cap might go up) posted a survey to find out how many out there do or want to use their flavor of NIX to play their games. If there is enough response. I could send the data to Steam and give them a accurate number. Please take some time to fill it out here. Thank you. I'll pay the bill this month for more bandwidth if this kills me :)
