Best Buy Confirms It Uses Secret Website

Under pressure from state investigators, Best Buy is now confirming my reporting that its stores have a secret intranet site that has been used to block some consumers from getting cheaper prices advertised on BestBuy.com.

Not knowing how each individual store is hooked to the internet, maybe by default the browsing machines go to the internal website by default (homepage), which might not be updated as quickly/often as their external website. Considering I haven't set foot in a BestBuy in over a year (or ever visited their website) I must admit it doesn't affect me much :-)
