Seems the readers of Reason think the Boston cops acted like fools over the Cartoon Network prank. I am siding with the cops on this one. Please note this in your diaries as it don't happen much.

So anytime anyone does something or puts something somewhere that ends up causing undue panic, they should be held responsible? I don't see where an actual crime was committed, except perhaps trespassing.

The fact that these devices were put in place in numerous cities WEEKS ago is the worst part. It just goes to show that Homeland Security and the local authorities weren't paying attention until hysteria set in.

If people appreciated good TV, they'd know who Ignignok and Err are! I live in ATL where Adult Swim is located. I've seen 30 foot tall neon mooninites flipping people off from the safety of a billboard many times. It's funny, everyone in ATL loves it. Boston needs to get their heads out of their asses and look for their sense of humor.
