Journal robi2106's Journal: Car SO2 Emissions vs Volcanoes - Al Gore vs Facts 7
EDIT: entire article content yanked due to some math flaws and CO2 vs SO2 number problems. I'm going to recalculate and repost when I can find the corrected data. Sorry for the confusion and stay tuned

It also means that we're currently about 30% ABOVE average- in a data set that previously only varied by 20 ppm, we're a 100 ppm outlier.
Once again, though, you're reacting to the information as if it's a threat or laying blame. It isn't. NOTHING in our s

Measurements from Antarctic ice cores show that just before industrial emissions began, atmospheric CO2 levels were about 280 parts per million by volume (ppm; the units L/L are occasionally used and are identical to parts per million by volume). From the same ice cores it appears that CO2 concentrations stayed between 260 and 280 ppm during the preceding 10,000 years. Studies using evidence from stomata of fossilized leaves

Also I should point out that I was only looking at the far more harmful SO2 and not CO2. SO2 is only 11% of the gas emission from a volcano but is far more toxic and dangerous to the environment.
