  • And maybe if I spent my entire "day" on a "computer", I could have proven it to the world by posting "first".

    Speaking of MST3K and soup, I have no idea what episode this happened in, but after Joel was distracted he says, "I was just thinking about soup". I say that when I get asked a question and I haven't been paying attention, and nobody ever gets the reference. And that's why I say it.

        Jane, you don't have to prove it. But that anecdote wins you bonus points. To this day if you say, "Basil Rathbones," to blinder, he starts laughing.

        And soup gets listed on our grocery list as, "Earth vs. soup"

        usually right above, "what's potatoes, precious?"

        and "hasenpfeffer," which is blinderese for "carrots."

        (If i didn't know better, i'd swear this hasenpfeffer was carrots!)
