"Love is a matter of timing. It doesn't matter if you find the person who is right for you, if it's too soon or too late."

For me, no words ever spoken on film have had more truth than this.

  • Too soon?

    Too late?

    Or on time?

      Sadly, the first two.
      • Hopefully you got to experience it fully.

That in itself is living, and it's better to live.
        • Don't get me wrong. I don't regret anything. I just wish I had better timing.

Is it any wonder I've never been able to strike it big as stand-up comic?

            I haven't seen your act, so I can't say.

Unless this *is* your act, in which case I concur. ;)

fortunately for you timing can be learned. i met a couple women too soon, with either of which i think i might have had a good lifelong relationship. of course i didn't realize it until it was much too late. later on i dated a woman who although a great person, was not a good a good lifetime match for me nor i for her. when my now wife came along i had learned enough to make it work. but without those other women i wouldn't have been able to realize the greatness of it until it had passed me by.

      • I don't believe in Too Late, but then I'm the asshole that will steal someone's girlfriend.
  • My GF and I fell asleep about 40 minutes into it. NOTHING happened. At all.

I am not surprised that it has some good quotes, given how much yapping they do throughout it!
    • And I'll stop and watch anything with her in it. Even boring movies. It took me a while to get into it until I fell into the pace of the movie. It was Saturday night at 3am. I had nothing better to do. ;)
      • I loved this movie, it was slow and surreal and beautiful to look at. My friend Amy hated it. "Booooring!" she said. I'd like to see it again.

        • haunting! There was just something that kept me watching it that night. Something about the characters that resonated with me. I'm glad I stuck with it, though.

I took some wisdom away from that story.
