The problem with Slashdot is that you can be suspended if you don't want to suck Linus Torvald's dick.
No, really. I'm serious. My office's entire class C IP range was recently suspended for a month for being "downmodded too many times." The reason for about 75% of the -1s? Either pro Windows comments being picked out as "overrated" (even at a score of 1 or less), or a totally random downmod to a 4 or 5 point comment because an anonymous coward dislikes my signature admonishing them.
Slashdot: elitist, overbearing, and willing to build a system resulting in the ostracizing of all outsiders. Bullshit. I'm not going to stop saying what I think because some insecure acne-infested nose breather doesn't like what I have to say simply on the basis that I disagree with what he has to say. Don't like me?
